Zora Neale Hurston, an esteemed member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated pledged the sorority in 1920, shortly after its founding at Howard University. Throughout her life, Zora embodied the sorority's values of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. Her courage, creativity, and unrelenting dedication to her craft have inspired generations. We thank Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated for always celebrating Zora as a distinguished soror, honoring her legacy within the sorority and the broader cultural community. We would love to have you attend our 2025 Zora Neale Hurston Summit and to participate in the festivities.

A Zora Tribute by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated
We at the Zora Neale Hurston Trust are honored to invite the brilliant and powerful voices of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated to participate in a unique video tribute celebrating your soror, the beloved Zora Neale Hurston, for the upcoming 2025 Zora Neale Hurston Summit. This special event pays homage to Zora's boundless genius and enduring legacy.
As we gather to honor Zora's life, legacy and work, we invite each of you to submit a short video (no more than 2 minutes in length) expressing your love and admiration for this extraordinary woman and visionary. We ask that all submissions be filmed in horizontal orientation.

Orientation: Horizontal only
Content: Share your personal reflections, favorite memories, quotes, or any meaningful connections you have to Zora Neale Hurston's life, work, and role within Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Zora Neale Hurston Summit is a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) charity. Contributions made payable to Fractured Atlas for the purposes of Zora Neale Hurston Summit are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. If you receive a reward in exchange for your donation, the fair market value of that reward will reduce the tax-deductible portion of your donation. The value of the reward you receive will be included in your donation receipt.
